A foot in the door...
There’s nothing more annoying than a door banging shut and now that the weather is improving (well, hopefully!) and you have the windows at home open, unintentional door banging is likely to occur more often.
A door stop is the ideal way of helping prevent doors from banging and if you’re looking for something a bit quirky and unusual to prop your doors open, then how about this funky stiletto shoe?
Available in a choice of red or black, the shoe door stop is made out of rubber, so it’s super durable for its door stopping activities.
The stiletto door stops are available from Totally Funky.

These two pretty quilts are part of the popular Cath Kidston bedroom range and are suitable for babies and young children. Both the quilts feature reversible designs, making them even more functional for a range of bedding needs.
The alternative side of both the spray flowers floral quilt and the multicoloured shooting star quilt are adorned with small dots. Both reversible quilts are made of soft jersey, with cream piping, and they measure 75cm by 100cm. They’re designed to be suitable for use for babies from 12 months and older.
Both these reversible quilts are reduced in the Cath Kidston sale and have a tidy 50% off their original prices.

Perfectly mismatched
I’m all for a bit of mis-matching with home accessories (it’s can be far more interesting) and this is the perfect way of getting a wonderfully random set of cutlery.
Aptly called the Eclectic Cutlery Set, the 16 piece set contains four knives, four forks, four dessert spoons and four tea spoons. The design styles of the cutlery live up to the eclectic claim, with a range of pretty florals, traditional gingham designs, antique styles and even modern. It would be the perfect accompaniment to coloured or plain white tableware.
To get the eclectic cutlery set on your table, head over to The Contemporary Home.

Who's sitting where?
When you’re having a dinner party, tea party or special meal, it’s nice to lay the table properly and mark out details of who should sit at each place.
Placecards can be propped up in the appropriate spot, but one way of doing it in style is to use placecard holders.
This set of pretty little placecard holders are in the shape of mini chairs. They’re made from pewter and come in a set of four different chair styles. Find them for sale at Patchwork Harmony.
