Nautical doorstop
The nautical and coastal trends are alive and kicking in homeware products at the moment, but if you’re not keen on some of the blue and white accessories, but do want a touch of nautical in your home, then this fabulous doorstop is perfect.
Produced in the form of a large knot, the chunky doorstop is made from heavy fishing rope. It has a large loop at the top, which makes it easy to move around and position it where you’d like it. It works well as a doorstop, but would look great in a corner for decorative purposes too.
The knot doorstop was originally £38, but it’s currently reduced to £29 in the Plumo sale.

Decorative glass bowl
This unusual bowl, with its striking pebble effect, is handmade from glass.
The bowl has been hand painted in antique turquoise and gold to produce the pebble design inside the bowl – the oustide is left as plain gold. It would make a good centrepiece for a table or shelf and is available from Simply Stylish Home Accessories, for £11.95.

Striking wooden candle stick
This is a candle stick that will really make an impression!
The hand crafted Fair Trade wooden candle stick is made in India from sustainable wood. Although classed as being the small size, the piece is naturally oversized (it measures 37.5cm) and is by no means a small and insignificant candle stick.
If you loved carved wooden home accessories, then this is the perfect candle stick for you!
Originally priced at £32, the carved candlestick is now £22.40 in the sale at Ascension.

I first spotted these pretty butterfly clips whilst browsing in a homewares shop. I liked them a lot, but didn’t buy them at the time, so was really pleased to discover somewhere to buy them online.
The pink and blue butterflies have a clip on the back of them, which can easily be used to attach the butterfly onto the object of your choice. If you’d like to see a colourful butterfly fluttering around your mirror, on a picture frame, on the top of a vase or on a noticeboard, then you can, with help of these beauties. They’re a nice way of adding a touch of decorating to your home, even if you’re on a budget, and can be used individually, or in groups.
The butterflies are nicely produced and are a fab buy, at only £3 each. You’ll find them for sale from Home & Glory on Not On The High Street.

Who's sitting where?
When you’re having a dinner party, tea party or special meal, it’s nice to lay the table properly and mark out details of who should sit at each place.
Placecards can be propped up in the appropriate spot, but one way of doing it in style is to use placecard holders.
This set of pretty little placecard holders are in the shape of mini chairs. They’re made from pewter and come in a set of four different chair styles. Find them for sale at Patchwork Harmony.

Large cup planters
These fun polka dot cups may look like drinking vessels, but they’re actually garden planters.
Suitable for use indoors or outside in the garden, the cup planters are large enough to hold several plants or bulbs and make a more interesting alternative to a plain old plant pot.
Available in a choice of either blue and white polka dots, or pink and white polka dots, you’ll find the oversized cup planters available at I Want One of Those.
