Not On The High Street: Home of unique home accessories

Here at Home Gems, we feature a wide range of shops where you can buy home accessories, but one of our favourite online retailers is Not On The High Street.com.

If you’ve not come across Notonthehighstreet before, it’s well worth a browse. The Home and Garden section is full to the brim with a great range of home accessories to suit all tastes and home styles.

The site is very easy to navigate and we particularly like the fact that you can shop by room (e.g. kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, bedroom etc) or by the type of product or home accessories you’re interested in (e.g. interior accessories, kitchen accessories, pictures, lighting or tableware).

There are other criteria you can set for searches too, including the price, delivery options, delivery zones and special features, such as whether products are eco-friendly, made in Britain, personalised or can be gift wrapped.

Items are sold on Not On The High Street from a wide range of handpicked retailers, who each have their own ‘shop window’. As the name suggests, many of the items aren’t things you’d typically find on the average high street and the site is great for finding unusual, handmade, vintage or special items.

Whilst some of the retailers have their own websites too, the main benefit of NotOnTheHighStreet is that all their wares are gathered in one place, like a massive specialist market or fair. These means you can shop from a big selection without having to move between different sites.
