What sort of Christmas tree are you having at home this year?
If you don’t want to buy a real Christmas tree, there’s a huge variety of artificial Christmas trees available, and you can choose your tree to be as real looking or as unique as you want. Here are 10 of our favourite Christmas trees.
This pre-lit Baltic spruce Christmas tree is neither green nor white, making it quite natural looking. It looks like a green tree which has frost or snow lying on it. Sterling Furniture sells the tree in three different sizes – five feet, six feet or seven feet, starting at £179.99 for the five feet tree.
This six feet pre-lit Bayberry spruce feel-real artificial Christmas tree looks very like the real deal. The polyethylene/PVC, as well as molds of real tree branches, work to make it look so life like. Hayes Garden World sell the tree and at the moment they are giving away a free nine feet feel-real bayberry garland with every tree. The price of the tree is £239.99.
Christmas trees don’t have to be green, and white Christmas trees have become more popular over the last ten years. This six foot white artificial Christmas tree is simple, but smart. Festive Lights are selling the tree for £64.99 with an additional ten percent off at the moment.
Discount Christmas Decorations has a good selection of Christmas trees. We like this black and red berry artificial Christmas tree. The tree comes in different sizes – 45cm and 60cm – both perfect tabletop sizes. If you have a small house, or are looking for an extra Christmas tree for the porch perhaps this Christmas tree would be perfect. The prices are good – £14.99 for the small, £19.99 for the large.
John Lewis sells this pre-lit outdoor blossom Christmas tree for £80. It lights up with 200 LED bulbs in removable petals, and will brighten up the garden without being too over the top.
This six foot flocked Christmas tree is made to look very like a real tree in snow. Made from green PVC, it looks very much like there is real snow on the branches. It is available from Christmas Lights for £99.
Made with bound on branches and soft vinyl twigs, this artificial Christmas tree with gold decorations comes with eighty LED lights and seventy five assorted glitter pieces – baubles, pine cones, and a bright star for the top. It is certainly one to look at if you want a tree with decorations supplied. The decorated Christmas tree costs £49.99 from Greenfingers.
Fibre optic trees look beautiful in the dark winter evenings. This white fibre optic Christmas tree has a rotating multi-coloured wheel which sends varying colours of light down the fibre optics to give a colour phased effect. At the moment Amazon is selling the tree for £89.99 instead of £179.99.
We love this twiggy Christmas tree with LED lights – not as a main tree, but as a fantastic additional tree. The tree is made from a metal base and frame, covered and entwined with natural wicker.
The tiny LED lights around the twiggy cone shaped tree make it sparkle and twinkle. There are two styles to choose from – a starry tree with white stars on red gingham ribbons, and a hearty tree with white wicker hearts and a natural gingham ribbon. The small tree costs £36 and the big one £54, from Not on the High Street.
We’ve left the most unusual one until last. This black upside down Christmas tree looks much better than it sounds. It has metal hinged branches which drop into place and a steel base. It looks fantastic when decorated and costs £23.99 from eBay.
