With Brits forced to spend more time at home during the Coronavirus lockdown, it’s not surprising that more people have turned to DIY, decorating and dreaming about new home buys.
The online shopping team at money.co.uk have spent their time analysing Google search data to see which homeware brands have proved the most popular with lockdown buyers. Have people been buying paint and DIY tools, or wallpaper and furniture?
Here’s what their analysis revealed:
So it looks like furniture was a key issue during lockdown, with a huge number of people looking at what Furniture Village had on offer. Home furnishing fans in Plymouth made the most searches, followed by Ipswich, Stoke-on-Trent, and Newton-le-Willows.
