It’s a problem every year – how to display all the Christmas cards without cluttering the house too much. A good sturdy Christmas card holder is the answer. We have put togther a list of ten which we think will do the job and which also look good too.
This Christmas card holder by Kiddabean caught our eye because it is quite unusual. It looks as if you could find other uses for it and use it all year round – for holding birthday cards perhaps. The Christmas cards are hung with pegs, surrounded by an ornate frame. It comes in two sizes – large or extra large with the price starting at £85. Not on the High Street is the retailer.
Here is another holder which uses pegs. DPS Giftware sells this reindeer wooden peg Christmas card holder for £2.25. There are twenty little reindeer wooden pegs to hold the cards. The holder is not large or bulky looking so you could get away with having two or three.
Dibor sells this cream wire Christmas card holder for £16. Made from powder coated metal and with smaller hearts for each of the slots, this is another holder you could get plenty of use out of.
Crowders sell three different designs of these Christmas card wall holders – a Santa, a reindeer and a snowman, all with a gold glitter finish. Each holds up to forty cards. They are very neat looking, and small enough to fit neatly in a drawer until next year.
At just over one metre long this gold star Christmas card holder from Marks and Spencers holds sixteeen cards. The ribbon at the top of the star is for hanging it up and the pegs are used for attaching the cards.
A Christmas tree card holder is a good idea, particularly if you would rather not hang things up on walls. The coated wire tree has spring clip stars to hold and display your Christmas cards. The cost is £17 from Velvet Brown.
This gold Christmas tree card holder is quite unusual looking. Shaped like a triangle, a bit like a Christmas tree, and with a little star on top, each leg is made from multiple circles. It holds up to one hundred cards, and folds up easily for storage. Crowders sell it for £14.81.
Poundland sell this metal Christmas card holder for a mere £1. It is a simple design – sixteen rings with a reindeer at the top.
This white metal love bird card holder is good if you feel that your room is becoming a bit too Christmassy. It is more neutral looking. The love bird perches on top of the three arm card holder which can hold twelve Christmas cards. The holder is 40 cm high by 24 cm wide and is made of painted metal. Dotcom Giftshop sell it for £9.95.
We like the way this bauble over-door card holder is easily assembled and easily hung. It just hangs over the back of the door. Costing £16.99 from Lakeland it holds forty cards.
